Who We Are
LawAmie is a DBA of Summit Sunlight LLC, a legal technology company organized under the laws of the State of California (“LawAmie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We operate lawamie.com and the @lawamie_bot on Telegram.
LawAmie is not a law firm. No attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of our service. Information you share with LawAmie is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use LawAmie’s website, Telegram bot, or any related service (collectively, the “Service”).
What Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you use the LawAmie Telegram bot or interact with our website, you may share:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Your business name, website URL, social media handles, or app description
- Descriptions of your business operations, revenue, customer base, or legal situation
- Responses to intake questions and risk scan prompts
- Any other information you voluntarily share in conversation
Information collected automatically
When you visit lawamie.com, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URLs
- Device type and operating system
Information from Telegram
When you interact with @lawamie_bot, Telegram provides us with your Telegram user ID, username (if public), and the content of your messages to the bot. Telegram’s own privacy practices govern how Telegram handles your data on its platform. We encourage you to review Telegram’s Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the LawAmie risk scan and legal infrastructure tools
- Generate AI-powered legal risk assessments using your business information
- Maintain conversation context across sessions (via Make.com data store)
- Improve and refine our attorney-designed risk frameworks
- Communicate with you about your scan results, product updates, and service changes
- Enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal obligations
- Process payments when our paid tier is activated (via Stripe)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow advertisers to target you based on your LawAmie data.
How Your Information Is Shared — Third-Party Processors
To operate the Service, your information is processed by the following third-party service providers. By using LawAmie, you acknowledge and consent to this processing.
Anthropic, PBC (Claude API)
Your message content and business information are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate risk scan outputs and other AI responses. Anthropic processes this data to provide the API service. Anthropic’s data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy and Usage Policies. Your inputs to LawAmie may be used by Anthropic in accordance with their policies, which may include safety review and model improvement. Review Anthropic’s current policies for details.
Make.com (Automation & Data Store)
Make.com powers LawAmie’s automation backbone and stores conversation context to enable multi-turn memory. Your Telegram user ID, conversation history, and intake data are stored in Make.com’s data store. Make.com’s data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
Telegram
The LawAmie bot operates through Telegram’s platform. Telegram receives all messages you send to @lawamie_bot. Telegram is an independent controller of your data on its platform. Review Telegram’s Privacy Policy for details on how Telegram handles your data.
Stripe (Payments — upon activation)
When our paid tier is activated, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. Stripe will collect and process your payment information directly. We will not store your full payment card details. Stripe’s data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
WordPress / Website Hosting
Lawamie.com is built on WordPress and hosted by Hostinger. Standard web server logs, analytics, and WordPress functionality may collect the automatically-collected information described above. Hostinger’s privacy practices govern data collected at the infrastructure level.
Important Limitations on Confidentiality
No attorney-client privilege
Information you share with LawAmie is not protected by attorney-client privilege. LawAmie is not a law firm and no attorney-client relationship is formed. Your communications with LawAmie could be subject to disclosure in legal proceedings.
Data processed by AI
Your inputs are processed by Anthropic’s AI systems. Do not share information with LawAmie that you consider privileged, highly confidential, or that you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider. This includes information about ongoing litigation, criminal matters, or sensitive personal data of third parties.
Third-party processing
As described above, your information passes through multiple third-party platforms. Each platform operates under its own privacy policies and security practices.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Active conversation data: retained in Make.com for 12 months to support multi-session memory
- Email and contact information: retained until you request deletion
- Payment records: retained as required by applicable law and Stripe’s policies

Your Rights
California Residents — CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. No opt-out is required, but you may contact us to confirm.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
